OAuth Login redirect URL Format change

We will soon change our OAuth login redirect URL from (a) -> (b). Please note on the change from # to ?

(a) https://staging.binary.com/en/logged_inws.html#acct1=CR111&token1=xxxx&acct2=VRTC2222&token2=yyyy
(b) https://staging.binary.com/en/logged_inws.html?acct1=CR111&token1=xxxx&acct2=VRTC2222&token2=yyyy

After login, your apps will be redirected to your registered redirect uri during app registration. We append acct & token info, note on the change from # to ?. Thanks.

    I couldn't figure it out.

What I am trying to do is, use the binary api via the websockets to check my account balance, trading history etc.

  • The application I have in mind is not an app for a mobile device. If that makes sense.

  • Can you please explain your requirement better?

For this What I am trying to do is, use the binary api via the websockets to check my account balance, trading history etc. you can create api token from your account if you have account in binary.com

If you want it to do it for more clients or create app then you need to register app with us. Name is name of your app, it can be unique name even if its not an app on appstore etc. Redirect url is where your user will be redirected to once they login.

These application are for oauth implementation

  • Hi! I can't understand... how to fill in this field?---"Redirect URL"
    why is it necessary? :(
  • @Rebus redirect_url is the url where we will redirect your app user when they use login on their app. Its very standard process of oauth.
